CMIR FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
Between 2013 and 2017 CMIR announced a series of funding opportunities in partnership with a variety of Bristol Institutions.
During this period the Centre for Moving Image Research had 5 funding streams for research in the moving image.
1. CMIR Practice as Research Portfolio bursaries for UWE staff - up to £2500, rolling deadline until 15th September, rolling decisions based upon applications
2. CMIR expense bursaries for academic journal article for UWE staff - up to £500, rolling deadline until 15th September, rolling decisions based upon applications
3. CMIR/RWA Artists Bursaries for Artists in the South West - rolling deadline until 15th September, rolling decisions based upon applications
4. CMIR/Knowle West Community Engagement Bursaries - up to £400 rolling deadline until 15th September, rolling decisions based upon applications
These projects wwere guided and aided by members of CMIR and other academics from UWE including Professor Terry Flaxton and Professor Jon Dovey
5. Marie Curie Fellowships

There was also one bursary opportunity for a 2nd Year UWE student to study research methodologies with Sarah Sparke over Summer 2014: [email protected]
