RADICAL FILM NETWORK
Politically and aesthetically radical film culture in the UK has expanded significantly over the past two decades, with a variety of organisations across the country now working on the production and exhibition of films broadly aligned with the politics of the radical left. Drawing on knowledge of historical and contemporary political film networks around the world, the Radical Film Network (RFN) aims to develop infrastructural support for this radical film culture with a view to engendering its long-term sustainability and development.
This project was recently received an AHRC Research Netwwking Award from the Arts and Humanities Research Council. For more information please contact Steve Presence at [email protected]. Political Moving-image in the 21st Century
